PUBLIC WORK

STORYTELLING IN
PUBLIC SPACE

Where storytelling moves out of contained formats and into lived, public experience.

Work Through Heritage Mississauga

Ongoing work across public programming, storytelling, and audience engagement initiatives, developed in collaboration with Heritage Mississauga.

Alongside narrative and editorial work, I develop projects that take place in public space, where storytelling is experienced in real time through events, environments, and shared moments.

This work doesn’t sit on a page.

It happens in real time.
With people.
In environments that shift and respond.

It includes carrying projects from early concept through to public-facing execution, often through grants, partnerships, and community collaboration.

Across this work, the focus is on clarity, accessibility, and ensuring stories are presented with context and care.

CARASSAUGA — CANADA PAVILION

Work shaping the Canada Pavilion within Carassauga Festival.

This includes developing how the pavilion is experienced from first idea through to what people encounter on site, across programming, content, and audience interaction.

Stories extend across formats, but the focus remains consistent: what people understand, notice, and take with them.

LEGENDS ROW - MISSISSAUGA WALK OF FAME

Ongoing work supporting Legends Row, Mississauga’s Walk of Fame.

This includes writing, editorial development, and structuring how each story is presented publicly.

Individual achievements are placed within the broader story of the city, allowing recognition to connect to collective memory and identity..

SOUTERRAIN IMPRESSIONS (VIMY RIDGE EXHIBIT MICROSITE)

Led content development and narrative structure for a digital exhibit.

Historical material was translated into an accessible online experience, designed to extend the reach of the physical exhibition and support deeper public understanding.

Independent and
Client Work

Independent and client work focused on audience engagement and translating live, public experiences into formats that extend beyond the moment.

PORT CREDIT BUSKERFEST

Audience engagement and storytelling strategy supporting one of Mississauga’s largest public festivals.

The work captures live, time-based performance and extends it beyond the event, creating continuity before, during, and after the festival.

Content is designed to maintain the energy of the experience while making it accessible to a broader audience.

This work moves beyond individual stories into shared experience, in the moments where people gather and meaning is created collectively.
